Doesn't androgynous mean you look like a guy and a girl, thus making it hard to tell the difference? I would have thought, if that's you in the avatar, that you look more feminine.

Yup, that's me in the avatar. Yeah, I def look feminine, but when my five o' clock shadow grows out, and I'm still getting hit on by stupid men, then you know you have a problem.

Maybe they think you have been on birth control pills for a long...long time...might try a new-do to butch it up a notch!

But, I DON'T EVEN HAVE BOOBS! And, I like my long hair, I'm a hairstylist, what did you expect ?

[COLOR="Blue"I know, I used to have hair down to the middle of my back and in a pair of blue jeans, cowboy boots and a sheep skin coat I had lesbian woman eyeing me in admiration." Comes to a point you have to make a choice![/COLOR]

Lesbians hit on me too, it's hilar! Whatever, I like the way I look, I just get annoyed when a guy hits on me, and then goes, "oh, crap, you're a guy, sorry, uhh, um..", and then walks away. It's funny the first couple of times, but it tends to be bothersome. Some people even go so far to even grab their cameras out and video tape me walking around or take pictures. I guess people find me that intresting, I should be flattered.

I used to get that. Right up 'til i was about 23. The strange thing was, i liked it & would exaggerate the he/she thing with eyeliner & sculpted brows. The folly of youth!

Ahaha! That's funny! Yeah, I don't even wear make-up, and people still wonder if I'm a girl when I walk in the room. People even ask if I wear make-up when I'm not even wearing any. I'm 21 now, and this has been happening to me since I was 15 years old.

Seems to me, and I may be wrong, that a lot of this undue attention is brought about by your own created circumstance. And you seem intelligent enough to rectify the situation yourself however I think you'd miss the attention?!

But that is inherently the problem with putting yourself 'out there'. You don't really get to choose between the positive and negative feedback. You are not gonna stop people talking.

In your profile your got your stats down as...Height: 5'9.5, Weight: 110-112lbs, Chest: 33 in., Waist: 25 in., Hips: 34 in. "Hips"!??!?! Look at what your putting out there before you question whats coming back?!?!?!

You have longer hair... you have to admit it's feminine looking.

I have a femme voice. I'm always called "m'am" on the phone.

Even though, I've had straight guys call me honey before.

Not a problem for me, but I just felt confused and awkward.

I used to get this on occasion back in the early to mid '90s when I had bigger hair (like most guys then) and a smaller build.

Get a buzzcut and lift some weights. I did, and nobody calls me "miss" anymore. :biggrin1:

Sorry, but you are not androgynous. That would mean that you have both masculine and feminine characteristics. You look like a girly female.

In my humble opinion, if a guy doesn't have boobs or female personal parts, then he is still a guy. If people can't tell the difference then screw them, because there are just a lot of idiots out there. I really don't think it is your problem, but the world we live in. Then again, you are also gay, so combine gay mannerisms and feminine face and how can you blame people??? I think it is sad we don't have more androgynous str8 men. That too is the culture we live in. They all turned gay because no one would accept them as str8.. (speaking of people in general here)

Geez! Calm down! FYI, "hips" is a body measurement. You measure around the biggest part of your butt. Yes, even guys have hips too. I was just trying to start a silly little topic about androgyny, it's no big deal. I don't care if a guy thinks I'm a girl, I actually find it quite flattering, I guess that means I have a pretty features, big deal. But, just like anything, it can get kind of annoying, especially when it's someone cute hitting on me, and then all of the sudden they're not intrested anymore because I just happen to be the wrong sex. It's fine though, I'm perfectly happy the way I am, and the way I look, it's very distictive, and I guess I'm intresting to look at.

Ahah, that's funny! It's alright though, I like my hair. I'm actually a hairstylist, I wouldn't cut off my beautiful hair for anything!!
