I wish my parents had made the decision to cut. I was unhappy with my uncircumcised status, I hated it.
I just don't understand why a god should create an infant and then tell people to hack part of his cock off, especially as it must have been so difficult and painful before stainless steel and anesthaesia. Why didn't your god just stop making foreskins?

You'll have to ask an old-time cowboy that question. I don't know when circumcision became routine in America. I've often wondered if there were many circumcised men in the old west days. Probably not because I doubt doctor's were taught how to do the procedure in medical school back then. It would be interesting to know when that procedure began to be taught in medical schools.
No. It started in WWI, they did it without asking at birth to all in hospital up until 1967. Now we live in a vail of fucking ignorance.

Probably not. Male genital cutting only started to become customary in the late 19th century, it started in England and was spread by doctors and hospitals. (In fact it caught on at first among the wealthy who could afford to have babies in hospitals, and used the cut penis as a display of their wealth.)
