The only reason I started this thread, was cause I noticed I was a bit annoyed at one of the threads in which women were worrying so much about the state of their pussy. Well I've always found it a bit annoying that either peer pressure, or the porn industry or just teenage myths force many a girl to do horribly painful things to their pussy to be in the pretty pussy club.

Personally as I've stated before, I like any pussy to no pussy. But if I were to have all the selection in the world a smooth pussy preferable to a bushy pussy. However that does not mean I want my lady to go to her very friendly lady down the street and have excess ripped off. My point being, I still don't understand how women can go through such pain, just to have a pretty pussy.

So, for you ladies. If there was no guy involved, would you wax, or shave, or of course do neither?

And if there was a guy involved what would the answer be then?

Also if the parnter was a woman would that change the choice?

Guy, no guy, or girl. I would still get the waxing that I do. But I am anal retentive about hair, and I just like it better without any. Everyone has their preferances. Some women are doing it for their partners, some do it because they like how it looks, some probably do it because of the current stigma that its what is preferred. Honestly once you get it done a few times, you really don't notice the pain, especially if you are getting it done at a good place. I went to a different place than my usual once and I certainly was not a happy camper, with a skilled person doing it, pain can be very minimal. But to sum up, my reason for doing it is I hate hair down there and I like the way it looks when ive had a good wax. Shaving it completely gets to be a pain, figuratively and literally. If I were ever to go back to shaving i would get one of those feminine electric trimmers and do something classy like make a heart or put an E down there (i've done the heart, more effort than its worth).

I whole heartedly agree with MissEricaCourt...

even tho most guys (or gals) prefer a groomed puss... I keep mine neat because I like it that way... looks & feels way better... it does take effort... but pays off in the end...

I say if you request a trim, neat puss.. you should do the same.. jus to make things fair for all

p.s. nice pics MissEricaCourt..!

Hey Doc..you are cool...

It let to myself in the summer I will keep wax for wearing biquini, in the winter bush and spring and autumn trimmed and different landscaped...but i dont make it as a frozen rule bcause depends of my moods.

But I do like men that find a nice healthy pussy bush sexy...there are something about the ones i had..that are 90% of my guys...that concidence or not they have same approach to nature and sensuality kind of like mine own. Earthy, playful, sportive and etc...bcause if you love outdoors and etc you will not worry about hair and natural musk scents at all...:biggrin1: you just pack few things, travel light and go to explore and look for fun adventures and etc.

A love for a bush and body hair is not a small thing for me...

Well Gisella in regards to cool, you know we've both been around here the same amount of time, and you have racked up 2000+ posts, while I've just got 200+, so on that note, I think I'll have to bow down to you.

But thanks for replying. You're right in figuring that I love the outdoors, and maybe that lend something to me supporting some bush. But personally I am not anti-smooth, or anti-bush, if I am anything really, its just anti - I need to look a certain way thing. And if it goes for me, then it goes for my GF too. And I really don't like having to tell her again and again, that her pussy is just fine. Well sometimes its fun cause then I give it a kiss or two or reassurance. But you get what I mean.

As for the bush. Well if I'm out in the wild, and I am alot, then I expect the woman I'm with to be just as feral. No other way really.

Although the question was directed to ladies... but let me share my bit.
It's good to know that you ladies are willing to go through the trouble to wax and shave.... but it can be fun too.. let me elaborate...
At our country we do not have places to get waxed downthere... I personally prefer a shaved/nicely trimmed puss. My wife does not care ...she finds it a hassel to do it her self.... so what we do is ... every week or so I shave here down there and we both enjoy the session .. and afterwords we end up ... you know what...
I have trimmed a lot of shapes ... she loves the feeling of my hands down there and i take extra long time ... also after washing i give her a good and loing licking down there and make her have multiple orgs..:biggrin1:

PS. I do shave myself downthere regularly also..<br>

Guy involved or not, I like being trimmed down there. I'd do so even if no guy was involved, simply because it feels better, and in my eyes also looks better. If I look at myself in the mirror, I prefer to like what I see, and that's what I have: Just a small, narrow strip of hair. I'm blessed with not too fast-growing hair, so shaving the excess every three days or so is sufficient, and a treatment with lotion avoids irritations. And to answer your second part: I think a relationship is really up shit creek when the pubic hairstyle of one partner is that big a problem.

I agree with the other ladies in regards to shaving for myself and not my man. I mean, he likes it of course, but it's not like he won't go down on me if I'm not clean shaven. I think it's more hygienic for one thing, fresher, and also more sensitive to being licked or touched. I do shave every three days or so, it's not that bad once you get used to it. If I had to shave a complete bush every three days I wouldn't do it - maintenance is key. I actually don't even have to look to shave down there, I just prop my leg up on the counter (next to shower) and come from behind feeling my way around with my fingers after each pass of the razor to see if I feel any stubble. I never or rarely get razor burn, so it's just the same as shaving my legs. Men probably think it is such a big deal cause all they have to shave (don't even really have to) is their face. We women are used to shaving large portions of our bodies regularly. No biggie.

as a guy, i like myself, and my women well groomed or completely shaved. This area is a very important part of the body, and much like the hair on the top of your head, it is important to keep it in a well groomed state. Grooming down there is a good judge of character as well. One who ignores it, may be a messy person, or even lazy, while one who grooms, could ambitious and neat.

I guess I have to throw in something technical here, a little advice. I used to get a lot more irritations when I used razors built for women, LadyShave etc. At some point, I switched to using ordinary men's razors and soap, and it became a lot better. I guess the skin along throat and jaw has the same sensitivity as the crotch skin, so razors planned for these regions are compatible. And as long as you don't want to shave advanced shapes into your pubes, they're perfectly fine.

Well I have legs, underarms and eyebrows waxed, but not pussy. I am very dark haired, and have a very noticable growth in those areas but quite sparse pubic hair for some reason. This thread has got me thinking, but I have never had any complaints about the ammount of hair down there, and can wear a bikini without needing waxing, so guess it is OK.

Well I completely agree with you there. I mean can you imagine your partner thinking you lack organization or motivation because you don't shave. Or the other way around, that your partner demands you to be shaved because they think it is hygenic. Both of these are fallacies, but what gets me is most people don't realize.

Anyway, I support choice. And if y'all want to be a smooth as a baby, or fluffy as a cat, its all good with me.

Nah, nothing so romantic. I'm just a painter who never keeps his ass in one place. I love the outdoors, if I don't go out to the desert every now and then I feel I'm missing something important.

And once in the desert one really should take advantage of it.

"It can't hurt that much"

Well Kotcchanski, talking about that. My GF actually thinks I should try it out. But I on the other hand, do know how much it could hurt, and it is really the last thing on earth I would do. Which is why I am so stunned so many women either like to do it, or feel compelled to do it. But hey... it's your choice. Not mine. :grinning-smiley-003
