I was snipped in my teens. I'm Scottish so it's not the norm here. I have to say I prefer it this way for a few reasons. The only time I "miss it" is when I'm feeling like the odd guy out, but it's rare I am in a situation like that.
Someone mentioned in a previous comment that they like being cut but miss the warmth when the hood covered the head. Well, I can tell you this, as a Scot, I'm used to it being cold, wet and windy outside.
I remember walking to places, like school, on especially cold mornings and it feeling the tip of my foreskin being sore and numb. I don't miss that feeling. Lol. And I don't miss the regular UTIs that I had for years.
The doctors in Britain are slow to do anything about it, so I suffered through my childhood feeling like I was pissing a stream of fire. I was terrified of needing to pee sometimes, so I'd hold it in, and make the infection even worse. I wish they had sorted it out much earlier.
I think a circumcision is a personal decision, you won't know how you feel about it until you do it. You'll hear all sorts of perspectives. Some prefer it. Some don't.
