I'm uncut. Born in Canada, less common here AND my parents are European - they see no need for it.

Growing up I'd say 60% were cut... I dreamed of being a part of the 60%, just to fit in. NO WAY IN HELL I would give up the sensations my foreskin gives now.

Born in the UK, circumcised at birth at parents request, no religious or medical reason and quite happy that I am. See, this is a strange phenomenon to me. I seem to have a different mindset from many people because it just makes no sense to me.

Just because more people are cut, why would that make you want to be cut too? More does not equal better (in this case :wink.

I've had high school biology class - I know they tell you that the penis is born with a foreskin. I imagine there's some pre-set bias here on my part, but I look at a cut penis and know that I'm the way it's supposed to be, and that no matter how many of the rest of them there are, there is no need for me to wish I was anything other than I am.

I think this is the same reason I never had any internal conflict "coming to terms with" that fact that I'm gay. I do not see any reason to let other people tell me I am less than them. I guess I'm just not affected by peer pressure or something. I'm probably getting very overblown and pompous here, but that's how I feel.

Dad wanted me cut, I guess to be like him. Overruled by over-protective mother. She apparently didn't want to hurt me. I never really knew I was one way or the other until I was in the hospital and had to give a urine sample. I was feeling pretty lousy and my dad was helping me. I was in the 4th grade and never had really retracted my foreskin. Dad forced it back to clean it with the alcohol wipes. Hurt like hell, to say the least. I didn't even know what the heck a foreskin was; my parents weren't big on The Talk and I hadn't had sex ed yet. (That's when I learned that I was the odd man out on circumcision at my school.)

I remember him being annoyed at the time. probably more with my mother's "babying" of me. I was the kid who couldn't play sports because I might get hurt, so I chalk it up to resentful feelings on my father's part. Cause me to be a little ashamed of it at the time, but completely over that now. Now I know it was a blessing. My son won't be cut, and I'm a big proponent of helping other guy friends realize what they're, ahem, missing.

was born hindu so it was never an issue and yes i like being uncut .....lots of gal told me that uncut penis is easier to play with and more fun ..... I have sons, all uncut, one of the twins once said (not sure how foreskin came up but) that being a twin in the showers made it less 'odd'... He said he was at the pool showers once and got an odd look (the kid looked at all the other dicks then looked at my sons until his twin walked in and I guess that made it more 'normal'). I'm cut and wish it never happened. There is no health benefit whatsoever, and removing the foreskin removes up to 60% of penile sensitivity. Bad news.
The practice is nothing better than the rape of the victim it's performed upon. Sadly, just a brief moment after birth.

Uncut here. Parents wanted it that way. There was never any debate, according to them. Runs in the family, too--dad, brothers, cousins are all uncut. I never really cared about being like the majority--but my school did a pretty good job early on with sex ed, so people knew the difference and that both were "normal," so I never got teased or anything like that. These days I absolutely love it and feel really lucky that I was spared the knife. Shirk the circ, I say!

I escaped because circumcision at birth is not a common practice in my country. I escaped the second time when I learned, and can manage, to retract my foreskin completely when having an erection.

I've wished out of curiousity that I was still uncut, but sorry guys, have talked to several guys that were "not by choice" (read - injuries, etc), and they have said that the sensations and sensitivity went unchanged.

Curiously, my generation was the very first in my family to circ the boys. I know from a mix of home, vacations as a kid, and gym as an adult that my Dad all my uncles are uncut, yet my brother, myself and all of my cousins are all cut.

I was cut at birth. My opinion is, it was my foreskin, so it should have been my decision to cut it off, instead of my ignorant early-20's parents' choice. But here's an interesting wrinkle: I could have sworn that I saw my dad's uncut dick many times during my childhood.
