They didn't circumsize my brother. They wanted us both to look the same so we weren't weirded out by each other, so they didn't circumsize me.

They didn't because my family is of Mexican origin. Circumcision is not common in my family. Besides, circumcision rates in California have been very low since around the time I was born.

I'm uncut, it was my parents' choice. I'm a virgin so I dont know if I'll have problems with it. I've asked around and apparently I have longer than normal foreskin. I'm worried about having sex because of this. What should I do?

My parents were very bold in the fact that my brother and I were left uncut for pleasure reasons. I'm glad they made that decision b/c I cannot imagine my cock without it, it has made masturbation much better/easier over the years too.

Those of you who are uncut, like me, how do you think you escaped being circumcised? Did you father protect you from this common societal ritual, or were there other reasons.

Also, have you ever wished you were cut, and have you considered having it done as an adult?

Finally, for you men who ARE cut, have you ever wished you still had your foreskin?

I wish that I wasn't circumcised. I was cut at birth and I wish I wasn't. not so much because I don't like how my penis looks but that it is a very permanent and important change to my body that was forced upon me for no good reason. I'm still a bit bitter.

My dad and brothers are all uncut. We are of Afro-Latin origin, and lived in Cali and Tex, so most of the Latino guys are uncut, and in Tex about half of the Anglo and Black guys are uncut as well. I am the only one that was born with a problem with the skin being too tight, and had to be cut at 3 yrs old. Wish I still had it though.

In Australia I don't think it's as much of a concern as in the US and other places. My dad wanted me to be cut like he is but the doctor said there was no need and made sure I was taught how to pull back the foreskin and clean myself. I still remember having to show him when we went for our check-ups.

I also don't see the point of wanting it back or wanting it to be gone. I think young women might prefer a cock without a foreskin but that's just an idea in my head. None have ever said that to me and it's not something I've ever focused on.

Keep yourself clean and anyone will play with you!

Uncut here! Parents are from Scotland and I was born in Canada. I asked my Mother once why was I not cut and she told me that there is no need to do it. When I was growing up I did wish that I had been cut because I felt like the odd ball because everyone else was cut. Really, it was probably because I kept popping a boner in the locker room and the guys would stare.

Yeah Dad made sure me and my brothers were kept intact. A few years back I was thinking about getting it done, I don't have much foreskin, (only covers half the head at most, wanted to neaten the look up). Spoke to a close mate who's cut who proceded to rant at me the reasons why I should leave it alone lol.

My parents asked the ob/ped dr. and he said that circumcision was not necessary and that his own sons were not circumcised. So, if it wasn't for the Dr.'s sons, why should their own son be circumcised? My dad never had nor knew anyone who had a foreskin problem nor any that needed circumcising. Therefore, I have my foreskin. Thank you dr. for being honest and not greedy.
A friend of mine from Louisiana has his foreskin for pretty much the same reason.......the Dr. didn't find it necessary. He says the town he is from is full of foreskins.

I'd think mostly because in Canada, it's not really done except for medical or religious reasons; therefore it wasn't needed for me. It's not like I'm going to ask my parents, but that would be my best guess as to why I was left uncut.

I've got Phimosis so I'm probably going to have to get cut.:frown1:

The treatment for phimosis is gentle stretching with steroidal ointment (Betamethasone 1%). Do it morning and night for up to 6 months before considering surgery.

If a quick surgical remedy is desired, that is dorsal slit with transverse closure, a non-amputating preputialplasty. Ask your doctor how many s/he has done and you'll proabably get a blank stare, indicating you should run to a doctor who HAS a foreskin before doing anything else to your penis.

Awesome foreskin! It Reminds me of my dad and brothers growing up. They all had that nice overhang like yours. Since it was just us guys from the time I was 5 yrs old, we were in some state of nakedness almost all the time. I alwas felt a little more naked than everyone else, since I didn't have the foreskin covering the head of my penis like dad and my bros. But I have come to accept that it was necessary to have the surgery when I was 3yrs old, and nothing I can do about it now.
