I answered this in a previous thread. I was never told and I never asked, but my family is Italian and neither my grandfather nor my father was.
Probably not born in the hospital. My uncles were not (Italian family). They were born at home. They sure didn’t have a problem stealing that from their kids though.

I was premature and the doc wouldn't do it. I guess my parents thought it would be too traumatic to have it done as a kid so they left it. I got it removed as soon as I could after turning 18.

I was premature by months. I consider the doctor negligent.

I was in college before I saw another uncut cock. Kids in school thought something was wrong with my cock. They had no idea what circumcision even was.
Parents said they didn’t understand why you would cut a newborn baby.
Hated being different growing up- but now thankful

Where were you born and raised? My experience is very much like yours. I never saw a cut cock until college either.

My dad’s family never circumcised males, and expressly told obstetricians and pediatricians that he opposed circumcision before the births of me and my brothers. My mom’s family was Jewish, and all the males on her side of my family were circumcised eight days after birth according to brit milah.
So the choice was left to us as adults, and none of us is cut.

My wife’s attitude was that sons should look like their dad. She and I likewise expressly forbade circumcision of our sons.

My feeling is that a male should have the choice as a sexually experienced male whether or not to be cut. As my uncle said to me once, let ‘em find out what it’s for.

I’m last born out of five boys all of my brothers were circumcised and I was not it always bothered me growing up but as an adult I’m fine I actually love being uncut with it I asked my mom why I wasn’t circumcised and she said after four boys she saw how painful it was and she didn’t want to put me through that it’s funny it took her four boys to realize that though

The older brothers didn’t even notice but the brother that I’m closest to in age would always make like turtle neck and elephant trunk and anteater even to this day but maybe because he was jealous haha
If they only knew.

Why were you left uncircumcised?

I asked my parents why I was not circumcised. They said they had discussed it with the dr. and he said that it was just not necessary. He had not circumcised his own sons either. He said that problems were rare with the foreskin and unless there were problems later he did not see any reason to circumcise (this was in the 1960s). My dad said that he had never had any problems with his own foreskin. So they decided that I would get to keep my foreskin. I am glad that I did.

What about you?
Why did you get to keep yours?

I was born here in the US. I’m Mexican-American. Circumcision is very uncommon in Mexico and almost all of Latin America. As far as I know, none of the guys in my family are circumcised.

Where I live it is about 40% Latino. I have never seen a circumcised Latino in the gym. I do know of one who is because he had phimosis. He said he did not have his 2 sons cut.
