I'm the second of three boys in my family. My older brother was circumcised, and my mom was horrified by the pain he went through. She decided to leave me and my younger brother uncut.

I know of a couple of families that did the same. They circumcised the first born and none afterwards because it was so bad.

I had a friend who had her first born circed years ago. I heard she was pregnant and decided to talk to her about really wanting to do what she was going to do. I had convinced her against it but she told me that her son looked and felt so bad after it was done it was awful. She didn’t know why she did it, just that it was done and she thought it was normal.

Why were you left uncircumcised?

I asked my parents why I was not circumcised. They said they had discussed it with the dr. and he said that it was just not necessary. He had not circumcised his own sons either. He said that problems were rare with the foreskin and unless there were problems later he did not see any reason to circumcise (this was in the 1960s). My dad said that he had never had any problems with his own foreskin. So they decided that I would get to keep my foreskin. I am glad that I did.

I agree. I ask myself this question a lot considering what a baby 3 months premature looks like....

I can not understand why they would put you under the stress of a circumcision being a 3 month premie

So I was left intact. I think could’ve rocked the cut look but I prefer being uncut. A lot easier to Jack off

I have no idea about my moms side, they were born here and everybody was getting circumcisions back then

I was told that I didn’t have enough skin to cut. So instead, I was left unscathed.

Being Hispanic and from immigrant parents, it’s not common at all for us to circumcise our boys, so that’s why my cousin and I were left uncut at birth, we match with our dads and uncles

I had some health issues and had to stay at the hospital for a bit after being born so I think it was just forgotten. I have 5 male cousins I grew up around and we are all uncircumcised. It always felt normal to be uncut for me.
