LoveGirl: Every person is different and every person has something they consider weird about them, but most likely there are at least 100,000 other people in the world who are just like them in that way. It's a combination of all the things that make the person so don't worry whether you lose an erection quickly, it was probably just part of your design. As for the circumsizion thing I don't know but it would be safe to ask your doctor (I think). Asking the doctor is usually best.

There's room for a lot of variation. I was circumcised at 4 yrs. due to a medical condition...it grew back, leaving me with a very full and thick foreskin and a circumcision scar. Not only that, I also grew back the frenulum which attaches the foreskin to the head. I always thought it was fairly textbook to have that, but apparently not because I often find myself having to explain to a doctor that yes, it really is supposed to be there. Also had to correct my mother when she told someone that I was circumcised.

There is no "rule" for the foreskin per se; according to the Muslims, Muhammad was "born circumcised". (This is an actual medical condition. Aposthia. Very rare.) Other men have "megaprepuce" which eventually be too long and require surgery, but not necessarily circumcision.

The easiest way to tell if you're circumcised is if you have a ridged band. Here are some pictures of the ridged band:

All circumcisions remove the ridged band.

It's not unusual for a foreskin not to fully cover the head, even fully flaccid.

When I'm at my normal "relaxed" flaccid state, my glans peeks through an opening about the diameter of a dime. The only time my foreskin completely closes is when it's very cold, or sometimes after a particularly strenuous workout.

Before puberty I had a nice "anteater," but I sort of grew out of it. :(

Injian: I have a question regarding the foreskin issue .... i am uncircumsized as well but my problem is that the foreskin does not go below the head. i try to pull it down but it starts to hurt because it can only go down to a certain point. is this a medical issue? how can i get the foreskin to come down fully?

Stretch it. It might seem counterintuitive, but that's how it works. Also, how do you masturbate? If you hold your penis in one or two hands, or between the thumb and two fingers, and stroke it, that will exercise the dartos muscle more than rubbing the penis against something or using just a finger.

Not exactly, Jonb, I'm cut loosely, so I still have a little bit of the ridged band because I have my frenulum. I guess the doctor who did my circumcision knew what he was doing. When I'm completely flaccid, I have a little bit of skin that just touches my corona, but it doesn't go over it. When I'm hard, there's just enough skin to give me some movement, not like some of the really tightly cut dicks I've seen in pornos, and even some of my friends that I've jacked with. I guess I sort of have the best of both worlds.

I have to disagree with that, too. I am cut quite loose, and have a small overlap of skin, just covering the corona and going slightly over the edge of the glans, complete with about 1/4 inch of ridges that look just like the photos.

However, I am most certainly circumcized. In fact, one day when I was in my mid 20's, my mother suddenly gave me a strange look and launched into an almost tearful apology over having me circumcised. She wouldn't take "no" for an answer, and kept going on and on, despite my assurances that I was not bothered by it, and that a good job had been done. I did learn one interesting thing. She said:

"I was very surprised! You were delivered in a Catholic hospital (Christ Hospital, Jersey City, NJ), but they actually had a Rabbi on staff to do the circumcisions."

As I pointed out to my mother, I think I was cut quite well, although I have certainly seen a great number of very badly executed circumcisons. A more accurate statment might be that "Incompetent or overly-agressive circumcisions remove all of the ridged band."

It's a medical issue only if it inhibits successful sexual function or prevents you from keeping the glans adequately cleaned/bathed. You can change this phimotic condition. [Search "phimosis" ] Don't let any doctor(s) pressure you into a circumcision. It isn't necessary.
Each time you take a shower/bath, when water is warm and your skin is relaxed, penis flaccid, insert index fingers inside the foreskin opening, clamp with the thumbs on the outside, and GENTLY stretch, relax, stretch, relax. Never stretch to the point of pain. You can also do this by applying creams (no alcohols) or oils to the skin around the end of your shaft ... get the skin soft and malleable, then stretch and relax the prepucial opening. After a few weeks of these 'exercises', you will be able to retract your foreskin over your glans.
While you're at it, you may also have some side benefits of spontaneous masturbation. Be brave. :p

i have posted before that, although circumcised,
i am cut loose enough to have a lot of skin to play with...
i do not have one of those cocks where the
skin is reeeeeaaalllly tight when erect.

it is just part of our own uniqueness.
