The challenge is to grow new skin, which is lower on the shaft, that covers the head. I have a DTR and have grown enough skin to cover half my head. My problem is being consistent with the device, I have a PA, and remove the ring to use the DTR, and have to slide the ring back after a stretching session. I like to go for 3-4 hours at a time, always at home, as I feel it is too much to wear the device out of the house. Benefits, the rim is ultra sensitive, the head looks less rough and overall an improvement in sensations. The extra skin is real noticeable when boned and jacking, lots more pleasure. To grow the skin takes time, since I use it on and off again, it's been about two years overall. Like getting a PA, growing new skin is something for ones self, and a personal choice. My goal is to cover the head, with the ring (2ga, 3/4") and have a snout at the end, I like that look. I was born in the 50s, when being cut was considered normal, I have put my effort into restoration and could care less about why I was cut, at that time people made decisions about infants with the best advice they received, good or bad. One interesting thing I have picked up, which is perhaps a reason that cutting was popular, my Dad was in WW2, and was the equivalent to todays NP or PA, he told me that in training at school, for understanding surgery procedures, they trained giving recruits free circs. I am guessing that lots of soldiers got cut in the service during the war?
