Just wondering if people know if their male relatives are cut/uncut like they are?

For my example - I know that my brother and dad are uncut like me, but my uncle (dad’s brother) is cut.

I’d love to be able to have an open conversation with him about the difference in sensation and use.

Why is a status of this kind such an 'obsession' for so many men? Having a foreskin is the normal status. That's the status a babyboy is born.
In Europe most men are intact. A boy is circumcised for religious or medical reasons. And few adult men have chosen to have cut off their foreskin.
This is different than most circumcised men in the US. They were circumcised because parents were told that it would be better to have that done shortly after birth.

I think it’s the same type of curiosity wanting to know whose is longer, thicker, etc. it’s not wrong to be curious about the different experiences of being short vs long, thin vs thick or cut vs uncut. This just happens to be a forum for us to get together and talk about these things. Most of us have few other outlets to do so.

From that point of vue I must agree with you.

The males in my family are 100% uncut. My father, grandfathers, uncles, brothers, nephews, cousins, sons, brothers-in-laws are all uncircumcised. Well, except one brother-in-law. He was circumcised in his 40s because he was "having lots of kidney stones"!?!?!? I told him that this Dr was a quack and he needed to get a new one. The problem turned out he had a benign tumor on his parathyroid.

I think that (in the States) it may also be generational. Having been in the military, where nudity is common, guys who were about 20 years older seemed to be uncut. My father and his brothers, who were in this category, were uncut. Perhaps there’s a rural versus city component as well. They were born in rural Oklahoma in the 1940’s and were uncut.
As was previously stated, I also don’t understand the great interest and controversy this subject causes.

My father is not cut, but my brother and I are. Relatives on my mother's side seem mostly to be cut and I haven't had much interaction with relatives on my father's side. My sons are circumcised.

So only because male relatives on your mothers side are cut, you decided to have your boys circumcised? For no other reason ...?
