i decided to take the advice of the wise hippie hollow girl and write a letter to friend B. before i send it though, i would really like to get some feedback whether it's too much, too little, or if something needs to be added or taken out, etc.
friend B,
before you decide whether or not to read or ignore my note, at least hear what i have to say. it's no secret that we're not on speaking terms at the moment about the rumors that have been floating around. i understand why you would be mad at me over the things you have heard from other people.
yes, i did see you together at the park. however, whatever led you to believe i began rumors that you were seeing each other again couldn't be further from the truth. i admit i did ask my sister and friend C about the day i saw you together, and i figured they knew because you speak to them more than you speak to me. i didn't think it would get blown out of proportion that i asked my own sister and our mutual friend about your well-being.
even if you are seeing each other and speaking to each other again, it is your business and no one elses. if you felt like i made your business public for other people to know, that was never my intention. it's your decision who you see and speak to, and it isn't my place, or anyone else's for that matter, to judge what you do and how you live your life.
if you choose to believe the lies i had supposedly spread are real, then there is nothing left for me to say.
however, i value your friendship and i would hate to see all the years we've known each other tossed out the window over something that holds no truth.
this is my last attempt to contact you, since you never texted me back. if you decide to never speak to me again, i understand and i'm not offended. all i want is for you to know what i did and didn't say.
