Fountains or Firehoses?

Ok coming like a fountain or coming like a firehose? I would think my analogy is pretty straight forward being that as it may I prefer guy comes like a fountain instead of a firehouse.
I guess I do not get much of a choice
What say you guys and gals

He means volume (fountain) vs distance and power (firehose). I go for sheer volume, don't care if it oozes as long as it is a LOT.
