Not surprising coming from a Fox lackey, but still very sad.

The shitstorm approaches indeed.

i swear, Fox News is home to some of the worst people. *thinks of people like Ann Coulter and shivers*

give me someone like Keith Olbermann any day of the week.

agree... keith olbermann is great. i really hope that all this talk of assasinations does down because the last thing we need is for some nut to get an idea that someone in the tv was telling him to do it!

I am so glad our satellite provider pulled Fox and replaced it with Al Jazeera. Way better and actually fare and balanced. Every time I see Fox "News", I get angry.

Fair and balanced, baby.

What an odious person. Is Liz Trotta a regular contributor to Fox News? She certainly looks and sounds like one, but I'm always surprised (yes, even when its Fox News) whenever I hear an utterly boneheaded comment from someone who only has to talk on live TV for, like, 120 seconds.

Here's hoping Jon Stewart includes this in his inevitable RFK-gate wrap up next week.

Hmm. I actually don't see Olbermann as being any different from Fox News. Mind you I tend to agree with many of his positions. I just get very turned off by the extremes at either side of the spectrum.

That said, I do appreciate Keith for finally offering an alternative to Fox News, and its kinda sad that I have to compare one man to an entire network. Fox News has had such a disgusting and debilitating effect on American journalism and has led the national discourse for far too long. Perpetuation of the "liberal media" myth is something that has irked me to no end for the past 10 years (about the length of time I've worked in the media spectrum).

There have been times when I've wanted Keith Olbermann to climb through the TV and fuck me into unconsciousness. But that's an entirely unrelated matter.

So very true. In this country we have right and left-of-right. What were truly liberal positions became demonized as socialist or worse, communist. We're still feeling the effects of the communist witch hunts. It's sad, and dangerous, that our political discourse is so limited in scope.

well, Keith might be seen as part of the extreme point of view, but i find him to be much more realistic and intelligent than most of the hate spewing, idiotic fools at Fox News. Bill O'Reilly crawls under my skin! (but i think Keith had a role to play in that because how he hates and frequently grills O'Reilly). i can still remember John Gibson and those unforgivable remarks he made about Heath Ledger concering his death.

and as far as his sexiness, there was one day where he stared in the camera and licked his lips or something like that. i thought, geez, what a flirty bastard, but then i couldn't stop thinking about what a hot lay he would be...

Liz Trotta is a human piece of shit and I am SICK and TIRED of the fucking Hillary people comparing MSNBC to FOX news... there is no comparison. Just because Keith Olbermann and Chris Mathews want to call out Hillary's campaign on it's bullshit you wanna now call them the FOX of the Obama camp? You all are fucking nuts.

Liz Trotta & Huckabee make two of the most blatant comments about the possible assassination of Obama. Yet, Clinton's comments about RFK are fiercely spun by the media and her haters to make it appear that what she said was worse... and people on both sides, Republican & Democrat buy into it.

I thought this was supposed to be a country of intellectual thinkers. More and more it looks like we're all being played like violins.

That's simply because she's a much more important person. Though, that radio guy got national guff for 'nappy-headed hoes' so I don't see why these contributors aren't gettingat least SOME guff? Can't use the arguement that more important things are going on, because people nitpick on the tiniest shit(Hillary's comment) along with the big problems(Inflation/reccesion/Depression II incoming?).

But yes, what a horrible woman.

"Osama, Obama, whatever... Why not both?"
And that recieves only internet coverage? Pfft.

Oh yeah, and don't forget the "fair and balanced" CNN (The Clinton News Network). What passes for news these days in this country is just crap mostly.

Increasingly you hear about the death (or at least the reincarnation) of the Republican party, with the neocon movement and party unity falling to the likes of "maverick" moderates such as McCain. Obviously, a lot of this comes from the numerous policy blunders of the W administration, but I have to wonder if the implosion of the GOP is not also a reaction to the polarization caused by FOX News. Do they not realize that this kind of "appeasement" to the party's extreme right is a big turn off to a majority of voters?
