    Still Faux news to me.

Fortunately in the UK, I can access many news sites, and quite bizarrely for me, I tend to favour Russia Today, with ITN being my secondary source, and CNN for stuff from the states.

Yes, when it comes to matters concerning Russia, you can see some bias in their reporting (They are still Kremlin controlled), but generally I do find RT pretty well balanced, informative, and quite funny in parts, especially with the show with Max Keiser (If this guy was working for the BBC, he would be instantaneously fired. The guy is a madman!).

Well worth watching Max, for stuff concerning the financial markets (He used to be a stock broker himself), and especially the shit going off with Greece right now.

Wow... he got one fact wrong and that means that Jon Stewart is completely off the mark, therefore completely discrediting his entire argument. Yawn.

People like the OP don't seem to realize or understand that Stewart has no ambitions to become a political player, or even come to grips that the only reason why he has any relevance whatsoever in Politics is due to how most people are frustrated with how major news stations are currently ran. That includes CNN, MSNBC and even FOX. Besides, there's already an issue surrounding that interview focusing on key information Stewart provided that was "edited for content". If anyone really wants to open this can of worms, read and fact check the entire transcript to give a real analysis of what Stewart said, of course...

Let's not start another pathetic thread taking shots at liberals for what a political comedian says. Maybe we should stop trying to blame all liberals or conservatives for everything wrong in this country and either seek out or demand better news? Seriously... nobody here who doesn't like Fox News already is going to change their minds all due to one factually inaccurate statement from Jon Stewart.

And the really good news in the article quoted by the OP is this (emphasis mine):

"...none of which ranked the Fox News audience at the bottom of the misinformation barrel, even if the network did score low in certain areas pertaining to accuracy."

john stewart is a fucking comedian. hes not be-all end-all.

the fact that this thread exists shows how fox news fanboys know their news is right wing propaganda.

    youre grasping at straws.

oh and btw (first poll) how dare he say fox news viewers are the most uniformed! theyre not the most uninformed, theyre the second most uninformed...

also, the article you linked supports "faux news" as faux news lol

"the network did score low in certain areas pertaining to accuracy"

The way I see, in an environment set to hate upon FOX and its watchers, this article wasn't totally hateful. That is a victory.

I love you little crazy liberals. Your hearts are in the right place but your view of the world is childish and you are all full of so much hate for anyone or thing that disagrees with you. Which seems so at odds with your purported theories and beliefs. Funny....

LOL, a conservative calling the liberal world view childish? Watch out with those stones in the glass house you live in.

I don't give a fuck about Jon Stewart politically because he isn't very liberal. You should also probably note that his audience is consistently one of the most informed.

Tell me some of your political beliefs and we'll see who has the childish views.

We don't need John Stewart for credibility. FOX news is poison, well educated people know this (Never mind though, you can't get through to these conservatives, heads are hard as rocks)

End of it all, I see Jon Stewart in pretty much the same vain as the BBC show Have I Got News For You.

Both are pretty much based around political satire / comedy (Anyone in the UK remember Spitting Image?), and need to be treated as such, and not to be taken that seriously, irrespective who he works for.

Did you watch the interview at all? He wasn't rattled, nasty, or defensive. It was very straightforward, though earnest because he feels strongly.
