I have never been in a frat or been close enough with someone have my questions answered so i thought i would throw it out here. What are the initiations like in a frat? do some of them really consist of guys being nude and that guy bonding shit that you see on the movies? alos, do frat brothers share girls, watch porn together and jack off? Just some questions for you guys to think over! thanks

Typically speaking, you're talking about two different subjects. That is, frat LIFE, and frat INITIATIONS. They're very different things.
The initiation itself, is like most secret societies. It's a symbolic ritual, oaths, pledges, etc. In mine, I was shirtless, but my pants were never removed. You have to remember, that most of the modern fraternities were founded in the very uptight 1800s, and many have semi-religious bases to them.
Now, leading up to initiation is "Hell Week". All kinds of strange things go on, and it varies from house to house, and campus to campus, and is a mix of national and local traditions. Most of it boils down to absurd tasks, and sleep deprivation.
Once you're an active member, frat life... Well, there are NO set rules there. While there are certain rules and codes that houses follow, the rest of it is like any other all-guy group thrown together. Some share girls, some would never think about it. Some do circle jerks, some are homophobic.
Finally, if you do a search, there was already a frightenly similar thread started by Ganymede, a while back.

All of the above in my case, except for the Jacking off together thing...never got to do that. But yeah, it was crazy...naked antics, male bonding etc.
I can't speak about social fraternities, but I did pledge a professional fraternity and an honorary fraternity. It had relaxed a bit by the time I pledged, but at one time, the honorary fraternity I joined had a reputation for having the longest and most difficult pledge period on campus.
I can't give details about the initiation of either one, but I can say no, it did not involve any hanging out nude, or sex, and I never sat around with brothers watching porn or jacking off, nor did any of them share girls (or guys) that I was aware of.
In both of my fraternities, during the pledge period we had to learn history and symbolism of the organization. During initiation, much of the symbolism was explained by a depiction of parts of the history, much like an interactive play.
We did some hazing, but none of it was physical beatings or forced drinking or anything like that.
I'm in a social frat and our initiation was nothing like that, no nudity or anything. We do watch porn together tho, but its midget porn or some screwed up alien porn its just a time to chill out and laugh at crazy and hillarious porn eat nachos and just chill, no wackin off or anything.

Hate to disappoint you, but our fraternity was nothing like that as far as the initiation. I was in one of the big national greek-letter social fraternities, and our pledge period was more about mental torture (you'd better know each members' bio and the history of the organization and campus, and woe to you if you failed to answer a question correctly). There was much "service" by the pledge class, mainly in washing the members' cars in prep for date night, cleaning their rooms, doing their laundry, etc. (It's a nice perk of being a member!). Um, I will admit to having sexual liasons with a couple of my fraternity brothers, but it was kind of "by accident" both times.
No nude parties. No hanging out nude. No jackoff sessions (I wish!). Mainly just hanging out and having fun.
Same experiences as most of you ... sorry to disappoint, but the stereotypes don't seem to be true.
No nude activities (other than the fact that we had a group shower in the house), no sharing sex partners, no jerking off together. Some guys watch porn together, but that was more of a laugh to make fun of the porn.
