I'd say just keep doing it at home until you get use to it. Spend time outside and go for a walk or something like that where you won't
be in direct contact with people. After a while you won't even think anything of it. If you get hard just stick your hand in your pocket and adjust accordingly! Lol! That's what I do.

I always free ball under shorts (any length) and jeans (always 501's) at home or at work.

I always freeball soon as I've had my shower. Ill dry up and then just put on some pants & a T-shirt.
If I'm not going out for the rest of the day/night thats how ill stay but if I'm about to leave the house then ill slip on some underwear.
