I wanted to gauge those who may have had this problem, or those who may know an answer to it.

a few years ago, i had a frenuloplasty to try and correct frenulum breve (where the glans bend downward with pulling back the foreskin). This procedure didn’t work. I met with the urologist today where he examined it and was perplexed on what to do. He stated that the frenulum is essentially non existant but that a portion of foreskin is attached to the underside of the glans which is causing the pull down. I discussed a partial circumcision which he stated will not work at all and said the only course would be a full circumcision. However he said he doesn’t know if even that will work stating it’s a 50/50 if it would as the inner skin (that is attached) is used during the circumcision. I wanted to hear from anyone with experience here on what they have done, if a partial circ or full one worked, or from anyone with any professional experience. It is quite painful for intercourse at the moment the way things currently are.

photo is included. Note: breve is not as prominent when erect as may be seen in other photos of mine.

Netnic, describes very well here, as he has his frenulum praeputii removed without cutting.

Changing the frenum/frenulum - Page 8 - forums.newart.com
I completely removed the frenulum with three interventions. But every urologist does that too, just do not let yourself be persuaded to lengthen the frenulum or anything like that, cut all the nonsense through the frenulum and you're done.:)

Throwing out a left fielder here, but maybe something along these lines could help?

What about doing some 'foreskin restoration'? There are lots of options as to how you pursue it & with a steroid cream prescribed by your urologist to aid / speed the process, perhaps you can grow enough skin to relieve the tension. In perhaps 1 year you could be to a place where the Dr. has enough skin to do the frenuloplasty successfully or maybe you won't even need it.

A little left field perhaps, but worth discussing with him.
Seems your situation is a little atypical, so perhaps your solution will be as well.
Good Luck!

I appreciate the information, I’m trying to stretch the underside to straighten out the bend. Unfortunately there is no more frenulum left, but the Dr noticed that there was skin to either side of where the frenulum was that is much shorter then what’s above on top. This is where he is concerned many options may not work. But committed to solving this i definitely am

So I have been doing some research and found that some people have had success using a steroid cream on the bottom part of your inner foreskin where the frenulum was and stretching until the glands straighten out.

Does anyone either have any experience with this or know of some success stories with this?

I am currently over stretching a tight spot caused by a circ adhesion that creates what looks like a vertical scar all the way down to the horizontal scar. It basically is a dorsal fren. Hurts like a mother stretching it out but I’m not cutting it. I actually hope it will eventually detach but it’s working.

Whatever you need to do, it’s not circ. You’d probably make it worse.

underside of the glans which is causing the pull down. I discussed a partial circumcision which he stated will not work at all and said the only course would be a full circumcision.

Change doctor if he said partial circ woudln't work. It is a standard boilerplane answer of inespecrienced doctors (many urology books strongly recommend against partial circ because of push to eradicate them in mid 20th century to ensure all circs were complete).

From your picture (so limited understanding/view of your aparatus), I woudl say you have uneven foreskin, so in a circ, you woudl have to remove a bit more on the dorsal side vs ventral (where frenulum was) side. but doesn't mean you have to remova all foreskin. Though it is possible that if uneven enough, you would have to remove enough on dorsal that you end up with permanently retracted foreskin remnant (at which point you are better off tight circ)..
