I posted this "OK so i was loose cut and they left my frenulum intact, but for the past couple of days i've been looking at other frenulums and mine looks different, others continue right up to the piss slit, but mine just stops...wat gives?" on a foreskin restoration site with the pic below....And someone said it was probably a Skin bridge and not my frenulum...could this be true? :17::17:

It does look like a skin bridge but is it continually attached right up to the glans? Some frenulums are shorter than others and some run all the way to the slit, some don't. Get a sideways pic with it stretched out from the bottom.

Yup, it goes right up continually, up until now I've always thought it was my frenulum cause its in the exact same spot as intact guys...:frown1:

Like a batwing pic. Pull out your weiner, then with the other hand pull down the frenulum so we can see how it's attached along the underside. Take a picture from the side. Set your camera on a table or desk and set a timer or use the timer on your webcam.

Not for nothing, you really need to see a urologist to talk about all this stuff. You have a lot of worries about your equipment and one good visit should allay your fears. If you need anything fixed, he could arrange for that too. I know you're worried about your mom finding out about the visit and that's understandable yet she's not entitled to any information about why you went and the office won't give it to her and neither will the insurance company. You pay the copay and just go. I think it would help you feel a lot better.

Then go to another. Your insurance plan should offer a few. Urologists tend to be assholes and even other doctors agree. It's important not to let them intimidate you. You're paying for their time and professional opinion. Trust me, you get into a serious health situation like I am and you learn to tell doctors what they need to tell you and you don't take 'no' for an answer. They're just humans who need to have huge egos to do their job, yet that's no excuse for being dismissed. Try saying, "I'm really not satisfied with that answer. Could you please do/look/explain XYZ?" They'll look shocked but then do what you ask. It's your money they're earning. Don't let them forget that.

Wow, that's quite interesting. It does look like a skin bridge, it sort of gives me the impression that it's actually covering the frenulum itself! Would that even be possible?

It certainly would be if a fold of skin got trapped under the circumcising device exactly below the frenulum. He may have about an inch of ventral shaft skin and a frenulum awaiting freedom from the bridge.

I've got cancer. See the Jason_Els In Hospital thread in Etc., Etc. for more info.

Erm... huh. Well you know a bell is put over your glans to cut the foreskin. They then bunch the foreskin around the bell. The problem is the frenulum connects the glans to the foreskin so usually they cut it. In your case it may be that when they pulled your foreskin through the hole that they pulled skin from the bottom of the shaft, below where the frenulum starts. It essentially created a pocket that has the frenulum. When it healed, it left that pocket trapped by the bottom of your shaft skin adhering to the glans. Now the doc might have cut off your frenulum and the skin bunched anyway. There's no way to tell without an examination of some sort or some better pictures.

See, make that appointment with the urologist and tell him you've got a skin bridge and it causes painful intercourse because it gets pulled during sex. That's more than enough to get him to look at it and fix it if that's what it is. You've got to tell them what you need. Don't be a wimp about it. It's your dick. If you don't fight for it, nobody else will.

Thanks for the kind thoughts, I genuinely appreciate it.

Question: for that ampalling (is that what they call it?) did you need to make a hole or was one already there?

Then how does it stay on? The fact there's thin skin there is good as it indicates you may have an intact frenulum. I wish you had better pics as it's difficult to tell. The sideways pic pulling the frenulum down so we can see how it's attached can be helpful. In most guys the frenulum is pretty thin, like no thicker than a piece of denim, and it's got two independent sides to it, like your foreskin (or what's left of it) in that you can rub the two sides together. Ugh. I don't feel I'm explaininig this very well. Sorry about that.

It has two balls on the end and when I open it around my "frenulum" and let go the balls close back together, kinda like a spring, it doesnt hurt at all...actually i find it kinda stimulating :biggrin1:. Ya i'll do my best to get a camera tomorrow... No no, i get ur its kinda like a triangular pocket, as if someone took a sheet of skin, creased it and folder the two ends around me dick?..lol
