Hi All. I am over 40yo and suffered from tight frenulum causing the head of the penis skew downwards side when erect. Of course foreskin was not fully retractable when erect.

Jan 2nd I had frenulectomy through electrocautery. It has been just 2 weeks so the wound is still healing and it will look better in 2-4 weeks from now. I am a bit concerned the outcome is not satisfactory as I hoped for fully retractable foreskin without pulling down the glans.

Don't get scared by photos. It is healing. But can anyone who had frenulum cut, tied or removed can assess the outcome? Should I return to doctor asking for deeper cut to free up more foreskin? Thanks for opinions for experienced guys.

where it IS still healing, Having tied my frenulum, I would say that there is much more that needs to be removed. Again, Let your body heal and see how it feels but you may want to have a convo with your Dr.

Your urologist should have cut more imo.

Hey guys. I was at 2 doctors and have 2 options now.
Option 1 - visit the same doctor who did the prior electrocautery and run standard frenuloplasty with skin cut and stitches. He agreed do this free of charge in 3 days from now but said that 'there is not much more frenulum to cut' and he will just remove the scar.
Option 2 - wait 1 month for wound to heal and do standard frenuloplasty with stitches with another urologist. He mentioned to wait, and said we can remove the scar and cut a bit more. Of course that will cost. He was surprised why I have wound that looks like burnt.

Option 3 - Let it heal and do nothing accepting the look and feel - only partial skin removal and slight tugging of the glans.

Thoughts?

Is the black area gonna go away? Is that the burn?

I would go for Op !. He knows your story, you've had a conversation as to what you want and don't want. You have showed him what you want gone. I would stick with the original Dr.
