Frenum Piercings

Lately I have been thinking about frenum piercings. I was talking with some friends about some good penis piercings, and the one that caught my attention for something I might want was the frenum piercing. I think it could look hot. And thoughts or suggestions? I think I'm wide enough to the point that if I went the full ladder, the piercings wouldn't look too large or disproportionate. It doesn't seem to go through the urethra, which I'm hoping it doesn't. I'm interested to hear from others what they think of it. :tongue:

The word you're looking for is "frenulum". The frenum is in your mouth. You can pierce that, too.



I've considered piercing my foreskin a few times, but never got around to it. It'd look cool, I think. But it's not important enough to me...I'd rather get a new tat.

Asher: I have one, both my wife and I love it. Originally pierced at 10ga (about the thickness of a quarter) Have stretched it up to 1/4" with 1/2" balls. The bar is 5/8" long. The beauty of a piercing is if you do not like it you can remove it and it will close up as long as you do it before 6 months or a year.

The frenum (or frenulum - same thing) is the loose web of skin that connects the foreskin to the central cleft in the underside of the glans. The frenum piercing goes through this web of skin if there is one. Most circumcised men and some uncircumcised men have no web of skin in that area, in which case the piercing simply goes laterally through the skin in that area. It only pierces the loose skin and therefore does not go deep enough to puncture the urethra.

I had a frenum piercing (with a ball closure ring in it) many years ago. It healed quickly and was quite comfortable for a year or two. However, the skin of my frenum was very thin, and although the ring was smooth it managed to tear the skin, which parted and released the ring - I have heard of this happening to other guys. This is less likely to happen if more skin is 'gathered' in the piercing, if you see what I mean.

I got one at age 25. I removed it at age 27. It was OK - but caused issues during sex at times. It also depends on how much frenulum you have left (if you are cut). I had a LOT left. What I DID like about it was masturbation and receiving oral sex. WOW did it increase feelings. For my ex it was uncomfortable for him during sex. So I'd remove it. I have always wondered about the purpose of piercings. I regularly see a guy at the gym who is quite well endowed and has a large piercing on his head of his penis. I wonder why. Is it for aesthetics only? it probably makes his large penis even look longer. I would worry for those he might be screwing (especially if he is screwing a man). I'll give my two cents about the Prince Albert piercing. I've had mine for around 8 years. The best description I've heard was from the guy who pierced me. He explained how all the nerves that run through the spot where the piercing is located. All the vibrations, tugs, pulling, etc of the ring, is passed on to the nerves, it adds to and muliplies the feeling. Personally, I LOVE the weight of the ring on my penis. I love feeling it swing as I walk. it is amazing! I have absolutely NO regrets about getting the piercing.

I've yet to "tear" a vagina or anus. If you ever get a good look at the ring, everything is completely rounded. There are no sharp edges.

I have a 8g fenulum, had it for 2 years and love it. After about a year I upgraded to 6g captive ring, which I think is perfect. A couple of points of interest. Unlike a P.A. You don’t spill your piss. The frenulum is best for cut guys that have plenty of skin there. It is best to set the piercing deeply so as not to get migration out plus this allows you to have a large ring which you can flip over your glan during sex. If your partner is concerned about damage, it takes but a moment to pop the ball out of ring and take ring out. Just make sure that after sex you place back in.
