Part 1 I had thought that the one thing I would hate most about our new neighbourhood, was the people. We used to live in a small village with more well-off people; doctors, lawyers, business-owners, you get the picture. But as my father lost his job, due to the recession, we had to move to the 'other side of town'. And that sounds just like it is. The people here work as a mechanic, at the park-keeping or they're on welfare. I thought that I could stay in touch with my old friends, but that seems harder than expected. They go to a different school now, and it takes me about an hour to visit them. Also, it seems as if they don't really want me as a friend anymore. However, I've made some new friends in this neighbourhood. Or actually, one friend. His name is Dustin, and he's my age, 19 years old. He lives in a neighbourhood nearby, and he's my classmate. It has been only two weeks since we moved, but our friendship is pretty good already. Unlike my former friends, the people here aren't arrogant or something like that. They are always interested in making a little chat and everybody greets each other. I have to admit however, that Dustin isn't like my former friends. He's more like a scally type of guy. Most of the times he wears a tracksuit and he's got very short hair. Maybe you could call him a skinhead, but I don't see him that way. Dustin is also very slim, and very athletic. He says he works out a lot with some dumbells at his home, and he likes running. Dustin is part of another group of friends, and he has introduced me a couple of times. It are all guys just like Dustin, from the outside they appear to be very aggressive, but actually, they're very friendly.
