Haha. I don't know anything about why the show was created. Just picked up snippets of what a few people have said here. Would you want to share (briefly)? I basically think it's the most homoerotic teen show I've ever seen (haven't seen many) but I'm not complaining.

I ought to explain that what I thought was particularly unlikely was that they had him as a goalie. Usually that's a pretty tough player. I was a middie (midfielder), not usually protecting the goal. But I would volunteer to protect Froy any time...

lacrosse isn't an important part of the show, and there's not much thought into it. it's just an excuse to have a sport on the show so that there's locker room scenes. he could've had them be in the swim team and it would've been the same thing, except the boys would be wet instead of sweaty

Oh, sure I get it about lacrosse. But what if there's an actor who looks like he could actually be a high school lacrosse player, does that mean he couldn't also be hot? I'd think there are actors who fit both descriptions? Maybe Froy or other actors get cast for other reasons, like they have a lot of followers already (helps with ratings), are flavor of the month, or are willing to do *anything* to get a part. idk.
