It’s kind of bizarre that in a slasher movie you’re announcing that there are two sequels and the main cast who were murdered in the original are signed on for all three. So, they either don’t die in the first, end up flipping the script and become the murders in a twist, or exist as ghosts in the other ones. My other thought is that this is one of many upcoming red herrings in the marketing of the movie.

It could be like Fearstreet franchise - the same cast, different characters/time
