What is "new froy"?
That's literally what I just asked in my head! And misuse of "literally" is one of my pet-peeves.

Because I guess you guys didn't see the link in my post #1423? I don't know how to embed it in a post. Maybe someone could do it. I can't.

ANDREW MATARAZZO did an imitation of FROY at the convention. He said he was imitating NEW FROY...then RYAN KELLEY said "Do old Froy" and he imitated OLD FROY (emo) vs NEW FROY (masc). It's hilarious!

Am I the only one that has the impression froy is trying to find himself? That boy changes clothing styles faster than I can change hair colours!
And this isn't throwing shade btw.

Thanks for saying it. Haha. I was also trying not to sound like I was throwing shade. Btw we don't use the word chav in the US but that's what I thought of when I saw him here. lol.

Also not sure what he's been trying to hide under hats/beanies for a while.
Maybe I should do what my mom told me and if I can't say anything nice don't say anything. But for the record I think the poor dude is sort of a fashion don't overall but his handsome face has always overcome it for me and I only started noticing it more lately. There was this one time though when he looked kind of perfect.

I was waiting to see if Froy was going to wear something other than athletic gear at the convention. Kind of hoping it was a one-time thing yesterday. Like maybe he might have been wearing something at home and suddenly remembered he had to catch the plane, and never had time to change. I'm not trying to be mean but I just think it's a boring, lazy way to dress and I don't usually pay much attention to guys dressed like jocks, wearing track pants, and backwards baseball caps. Maybe if he was 16, okay. But he dressed better when he was 16. He's not a jock anyow so he just seems like a poseur to me. Can't help it, that's my reaction.

A girl tweeted she told him yesterday he was wearing the soccer jersey of her favorite team, and he told he didn't watch sports. I have to give an an honest opinion, and he looks like someone trying to be what he's not. Not sure why he would do that but it just rubs me the wrong way.

I don't blame him. I know nothing about sports either but I wear my fair share of track pants/athletic gear just because it's so damn comfortable.

As for doing the more 'masc' thing with his behavior...wouldn't exactly surprise me. But I don't know if that's so much an actual reflection of him and what he wants...or possibly pressure or a new direction from his team for the next stage of his career. Have seen this multiple times over...a young talent often starts out softer in voice, attitude, and look. As their star rises, the machine has them change, often deliberately, to something more masculine (even if just subtly so). I always thought he would have been better off going the more Troye Sivan route...but I have a feeling he wants to try the more Shawn Mendes route (which would be a shame for multiple reasons). I just hope the beards don't start soon...

..that being said, he definitely seems to be working out more (which I'm certainly not complaining about ;)).

Like I said he's trying to find himself. He went to through the gay dad shirt phase now he's going through the though, manly, sporty phase but has no clue what he's even wearing. I sigh.
