those guys are only doing so because they'll get paid for it.

I notice you said back in Mexico. Sorry if I sound picky but I'm curious about Froy's background - seems complicated. He says so as well. I think he's American - born here - with a Mexican dad - but spent some of his childhood in Mexico. Then grew up here. Anybody know anything?

Nah in fact I noticed someone asked him when he was going to put out anything and he said not until his series airs. So - timing to the series, I guess.

One thing I liked (but can't find now) - a producer posted it - him and Froy listening and moving to this upbeat song in Spanish. Seemed hard to sing, really wordy but great latin beat. Totally different than his other stuff like Fix Me.

Yeah that sounds right. And I think he exaggerates, like in an interview I was just looking at he says that song (Sideswipe) was more of a 'buzz single' he put out while he was on tour and "by the time I was wrapping up the tour" the fans were singing it back to him. He never went on tour but I guess it's all part of faking it till you make it. Interview: Froy on his debut single ‘Sideswipe’ and future music.

But Fix Me passed a million streams - he tweeted about it - so that's pretty cool.
