ATTENTION -- This post is about Frozen 2. If you haven't seen it yet, there will be spoilers.
Also, if you haven't seen it yet, go see it!
It's a beautifully, dark movie.
I've read online some fan theories on why Elsa abdicated the throne at the end to Anna and stayed in with the Northuldra.
One of the theories going around is that Elsa, when she was frozen by her own power, was killed and then brought back to life as a spirit.
I don't buy that. At all. In the first Frozen, Anna was frozen solid by Elsa's power. But she came back to life and no one considered her a spirit. Just that she came back to life.
It's the same with Elsa. She was frozen, then she was unfrozen and still alive.
The reason she abdicated the thrown to Anna is very simple.
She wasn't happy.
She even sang about it in the song, Into The Unknown: "Or are you someone out there, a little bit like me, who knows she's not where she's meant to be..."
She needed to be with the Northuldra just as Anna needed to be with Arendelle. Hence, why she abdicated.
To be where she belonged.
I can easily see a Frozen 3. This can be because of Elsa and Anna's parents. Another popular theory that was going around is that the King and Queen, when their ship went down, actually survived in the South Seas. And that the queen was pregnant. And that kid became Tarzan!
Frozen 2 dispelled that theory. Very harshly! The King and Queen didn't go to the South Sea. They actually went north. Past Northuldra and that's where their ship when down.
To make it even harsher, the girls actually see their parents wrecked ship, that was washed up on shore! They didn't find any bodies.
This, in my view, is how Frozen 3 can come about.
The ship went down in the same sea that we see Elsa attempt to cross in the trailers. Here, Elsa encounters the sea horse spirit, Nix.
My theory is that Nix save the King and Queen. Nix brought them another land and they are there.
Frozen 3 can be about Elsa and Anna journeying to find their parents.
So as for titles:
Frozen 1: Discovery
Frozen 2: Into The Unknown
Frozen 3: Reunion
#Frozen3reunion
Spread this far and wide. Let's get this into production!
