You have not refuted a single thing. You choose to focus on one aspect that no one else is talking about. Your entire purpose seems to be to convince people that this wasn't directed at Shauna Hunt in particular. No one, besides you, talks about whether this is the case or not because it's irrelevant. You've built your entire argument around this. And because the intent of the words doesn't make the words any less harmful, no one wants to take this stupid debate with you. That is why no one cares about your the your point about some guy, his wife and their idiot son. It doesn't matter.
So you choose to live in a world where women and men are equally objectified and equally vulnerable to rape. I think women in general wish they had that choice... I really want to say something condescending or downright insulting here, but you seem to be overly sensitive, so I'll hold back. Doesn't that speak volumes about my character?
Really? Are you going to go there? Even though you say "no one wants to take this stupid debate with you", clearly you're the one who wants to debate me to no end. I've refuted the points and given examples that punch holes in the baseless arguments.
Now you want to talk about rape? What planet are we living on? When did this stupid saying ever escalate into rape? Or are you just afraid that it might?
Seriously... Read this again jtm011. You can't be a proud father of those words...
Keep reading my words over again until you understand them.
1. Clearly you too live in world of fear where women are weak and vulnerable.
2. I believe in a world where women are intelligent and empowered.
3. In my world women and men are equal.
4. I don't let my mind play tricks on me thinking that a stupid prank from a moron can be extrapolated into a rape scene.
The problem with those who see fear in this is that you are under a paradigm that women are weak and victimized. Why can't women be equal and strong?
And by the way, that's what I teach my daughter. The concept that women are anything other than equal and strong isn't even considered.
