That's absolutely NOT true. It's already scientifically substantiated that coitus interruptus (pulling out) is as successful as using a condom when done before ejaculation
Nothing besides abstinence and lack of ovaries are as successful as quality condoms at preventing pregnancy.

I had a feeling, pronstar11. As a longtime barebacker, I never got a gal pregnant I didn't intend to. The withdrawal method has been 100% effective for me.
I read that section of the Planned Parenthood webpage hyperlinked above. In addition to pornstar11's observation that withdrawal (when used correctly) has a 96% success rate (which is very high), it has a 73% chance of success even when it is not always done correctly. That's very high when you factor in a few 'oops' moments when a woman's uterus gets flooded with sperm!

Even if I don't think I'm going to have sex, I always carry a condom or two in my pocket whenever I go on a date. (I've used them more than once when I got luckier than I'd hoped.) I think I'd be really bad at withdrawal (not really much practice), and I really don't want to be be an unplanned daddy.
Long ago my father asked me if I knew what you called people that used withdrawal? I guessed Catholics. He said no, you call them moms and dads. Nicettech, your dad's humor is apparent, but I personally disagree. Before I was married, I used the withdrawal method with dozens of women and I never impregnated any of them. With my wife, the only times I have gotten her pregnant were during the single months we were trying to conceive a baby. Those were in 2008 and 2013 and we have two beautiful children as a result. She has been off the pill for most of our marriage. Our exclusive form of birth control is the withdrawal method and it has been foolproof.
I've missed out. I have never experienced a six second orgasm before ejaculation begins. That would be mind blowing. More like 6 nanoseconds for me. The closest I ever came to that was a brief period in my 30s when I could orgasm without ejaculation and continue thrusting. I never was able to do more than 2 "dry" orgasms in one session and I stupidly didn't work on perfecting this multi-orgasmic capability and it went away.
I think a lot has to do with your sexual experience and frequency. I have had sex with very few, so the excitement of being in a new pussy the first time would overwhelm my control. eyemready, thank you, that's very flattering that being able to pull out an ejaculate entirely outside a woman's body might make me a "sexual athlete." I guess I always treated it as mandatory. I could rarely successfully have sex with a condom, but I knew if I came inside I'd eventually impregnate a woman without either of us intending her to get pregnant. So from the get-go, I formed in my mind the importance of pulling out.
