when you find out let me know. I get so sick of going to watch porn, and that stupid site gets blocked by my pop-up blocker....then it opens itself in another window.

It is tricky to block pop-unders as such, but you can prevent them from accessing the sites they are trying to reach. Google 'host files' and download a prepared host file for your computer. It basically tells your computer not to bother looking on the web for these annoying sites, and simply leaves you with a blank page (or ad frame etc) where the site would have been.

You could also use FireFox and install the 'NoScript' plugin to prevent scripts running which call these pop-unders. You then have control of what runs on your computer, and can allow just the scripts from the porn site you are visiting so that the movies etc will play as normal.

For the record, I have been doing research on this for some time now and there is no truly effective way to block it, short of ruining your regular surfing. They seem to have a block of IP addresses that rotate, so they are nearly impossible to beat. I am actually getting a bunch of my fellow IT geek friends to try to find an easy solution.

What gets me is how can they afford to have a paid pop-under on every fucking adult themed website?

I also think it's annoying but this is the case visiting free of charge sites. I'm affraid you have to live with it or start visiting pay sites....

Firefox -> AdblockPlus Addon -> Block Frame
works quite well for me

you can block the whole host with it, you still get a pop up once in a while but that's a blank page then.
