I must say, if these posts are any indication of the national mood we may be finally experiencing that fateful swinging of the pendulum back to the bush that I have been waiting for. It really doesn't matter so much anymore for me - I'm happily and faithfully married to a beautiful woman with a blond bush who keeps it the same no matter what the fashion. But one thing I'd like to see in my lifetime is a return to the earlier days of porn (70's, 80's) where there was no such thing as "hairy" girls or "hirsute" sites because pubic hair was the norm. I don't like how hair on a vagina has become so marginalized. It's like if a woman doesn't shave (even if she naturally does not even have that big of a bush) by porn and internet standards she's "hairy," "bushy," or "has a big bush." It's gotten to the point where if a woman has even a narrow landing strip she's automatically seen as "hairy," and thereby, a fetish. Lord knows there is enough of a proportion of guys who frequent 'hairy sites,' and plenty of full bush models and actresses available to watch. So it's not that there is a shortage - but I just don't like how is an actress misses her waxing appointment or decides not to shave for a month, she can only get a contract with 'Hairy Honies,' 'Natural Bush,' that guy Rodney something or other, and other like producers and labels.

I'm very much a fan of the full bush. I always say to women i've been with to just let it grow if they want to as I like it. The majority of the time I get surpirsed and relieved reactions from them. They seem to be under the impression they have to shave it all off to conform to 'fashion' and what guys like. Even though I think deep down alot of guys actually like a bush down there. Personally I think it's more womenly and a huge turn on.
I don't understand why anyone would want a woman to resemble a 12 year old girl. this whole shaving clean phase is borderline pedophilia.

I was simultaneously incredulous and genuinely pleased that this man loved a woman's natural body so much that he felt compelled to create this painting.

Never seen a hairy vagina,I have seen quiet a few women with hair on their vulva or labia majora.Maybe some of you need to go back to anatomy class,and also realize not all off us have pubic hair.A lack of hair does not make you look like a child!

Ed69 - I've seen trolls like you on other threads correcting me and other people for using the term "hairy vagina." It may not be technically correct for anatomy class, but we're not in medical school. If you go onto google and type in "hairy vagina," you will encounter no less than 20 sites devoted to men who want to see woman with decent amounts of pubic hair on their labia majora. So whether it is anatomically correct or not, a majority of people use and understand the term "hairy vagina" to be just what we're talking about here. The key to language is uniformity and no one (except you) is confused by what a "hairy vagina" looks like. The term works, work with it.
It's not a question of being lazy - it just sounds good. There's something tantalizing about the term "hairy vagina." Can I get some support from my fellow posters??

Nice that others have heard of / seen this painting! I think that a woman who has hair is viewed differently, as being more in charge or grounded in her own sexual power and persona (more so than a woman who is shaved, and therefore assumed to be pursuing a more youthful look).
I've continued to shave for the reasons outlined above, but I'm now considering a change
