Excuse me for feeling offended when people are comparing Dutch people to Germans. As for your question, I don't really know. I guess he didn't photograph really famous people. Most of them are unknown here in The Netherlands too.

Actually thats a good question. He was more into the olympic sports than the pro ones like football, tennis etc. Also his best areas are the sports that are popular in the Netherlands like cycling or speedskating.

I would say:
- Theo Bos - cycling - multiple world champion
- Pieter van den Hoogenband - swimming - triple olympic champion
- Marc Huizinga - judo - olympic champion
- Ian Thorpe - swimming - multiple olympic champion
