You and three quarters of the US Post Office staff When I was buying stuff on eBay from the States I would often receive parcels correctly addressed to me in "WA, Australia" and my 6xxx postcode, with a rubber stamp on them that read "Not Washington try Western Australia" :biggrin1: So in spite of being a digit short for a US zip code, and Australia at the bottom of the address it would appear the US post office were SO OFTEN sending mail to Washington that the Washington sorting office had stamps made up! :tongue:

Of course Austrians will tell you about mail from within Europe reaching them after a long detour to Australia
