Me, too. I was LIVID the first several months after that well-meaning but ultimately stupid, harmful and counter-productive law against sex trafficking was passed despite the DOJ prosecutors themselves actively lobbying against it to no avail. There has since been Doublelist, which I think is actually excellent and better than Craigslist was in dealing with things like spam, security and making sure all ads conformed to the law, but after 2 years, it still hasn't picked up in popularity the way I thought it was eventually gonna be just like Craigslist.

OMFG did I love CL, can't even tell you HOW many gorgeous hidden gems I found there, guys who would NEVER place an ad, you just placed yours looking for NSA guys in need of financial "aid" and THEY'D COME TO YOU. NYU students struggling actors beautiful str8 boys in Business school etc all with trepidation dipping their toes in the water for the first time etc. I saw one boy early 20's in grad school who looked like Josh Brolin on and off for 2 years.
