...doing his job. Yes, no joke; you'll hear it straight from Attorney General Baker. Baker, a Democrat, was asked by the Republican Governor Sonny Perdue to pursue a lawsuit to overturn the recently passed health care reform law. Baker did so, reviewing the state's Constitution and the merits of the suit, and declined to pursue, arguing above all that there are no merits for the suit and that it would waste a lot of taxpayer money.

The response?

Not only did state legislators fail twice to force Baker's hand, now they're trying to vote to impeach the guy. Seriously.

Typical and expected... Just keep cheering them on, and not only will they finish digging their grave for us, but they'll even climb in and pull the dirt down on themselves.

Wow, "the party of fiscal responsibility" wanting AGs to spend millions of dollars pursuing constitutional challanges to a law which is supported by a list of precidents a mile long. Do ya think there just might be the teensiest bit of "doublespeak" going on in Elephant Land? Never!

Honestly, sometimes I think these guys are on the payroll of The Daily Show, becuase they just keep supplying all of this ironic tragic/comedy material for Mr. Stewart.

Hey, boys in DC on the left and on the right: we're in a serious mess in this country and we need some serious changes made bout the ways in which we do things. Can you learn to play well enough together to actually get going on saving this nation? Thank you.
