I love watching it... but i have a problem to remember names (not only in GoT but in generall) - now imagen how hard it is to follow the plot, if you ask yourself all the time who is who :/

I still haven't watched Breaking Bad and True Detective... but I finally watched Game of Thrones (seasons 1-4) over the last few months! I'm late to the party, but now a fan. I'm planning a binge of the fifth season and still hoping that Queen (Dragon Attack and The Prophet's Song specifically) will magically appear on the soundtrack, at some point - then my mind can explode happily.

I like the show but its not one of my favorites, I am on imdb and other sites where people have read the books so you run into things. People said the books are different but im too lazy to read so I have the audio book and I read along on my tablet. I am into the second book about 3/5 of the way through and I dont notice anything too different from the show but obviously theres more in the book but tbh its been so tedious that I havent read in months now. Hoping to get caught up one day as the show is going to overtake the books I hear.

Just a baby dragon, though. Just one that can fly around the house and light candles for me. Not one that's gonna spit the bones of neighbourhood kids at my feet.

Speak for yourself - I happen to hate my neighbor's kids! :biggrin1:

Really veered away from the books this week - wow! I personally don't mind, but I know others out there will be a bit touchy over it.

Personally I'm glad they're keeping Bronn in the (completely different from the book) storyline. Tickled even. Good character in the books, great character on the show.

Wish they hadn't killed Oberyn - I knew it was coming, and I knew it was necessary - but they really cast him well and I could have used a bit more.

As for the best Character - Tyrion, hands down.

A book can have an infinite cast of characters, but a show needs to be finite. The audience cant as easily flip back a few pages.

Plus, theres casting, contracts, etc. i'm glad to see a tighter ensemble, for one.
