I was also wondering if Cersie's willingness to have sex with crude Euron, was just another manipulative, Cersie ploy to appear, just in time, to have been impregnated by him, rather than by Jaimie... Since she has said she would marry him, "if they win the war"... So that the baby would not be considered to be a "bastard" by the public or her family.

It did... As well as bringing up major conflicts between the various ruling women.
Honestly? I've been a little disappointed by the first two episodes. Felt like drawn out filler and could have been incorporated either into one episode or even into the last season
And I don't think I've ever seen less chemistry in a sex scene. It was too awkward, I cringed.

My toes were curling and not in a good way
I'm going to have to watch some serial killer documentaries and see if multiple murders inevitably result in a monotone. I get it, she's seen a lot, she's a bad ass... But a little inflection now and again... Please.
I thought afterwards she was going to pull her face off and Kristen Stewart would be lying there instead.
