That episode absolutely delivered! So many nervous moments. Now it's all coming down to the final showdown.

This episode was a bit too much for ol' ActionBuddy to deal with in one episode... He had to pause it, and do some kitchen cleaning, twice, before continuing viewing... He will have to watch it a second time, before making comments, beyond his inability to "suspend disbelief"... So many questions about immediate strategies!

i feel you. i almost emptied my bottle of wine when the Night King was approaching Bran.

This episode was a bit too much for ol' ActionBuddy to deal with in one episode... He had to pause it, and do some kitchen cleaning, twice, before continuing viewing... I got a chill when the Red Woman, made the Dothraki swords light up the night.
TheN I forgot how to breath , as 99% of the swords were extinguished

The red woman reminded Arya , of her fortune that was told

It was a breathless few moments... We expected the horse riding fire swords to win the night, but, they were apparently, extinguished...

So, what about Jon's Direwolf, "Ghost"?... He or she appears for two seconds for the initial battle in this episode, and goes off with the flaming sword Dothrakies, but... doesn't return to Winterfell?... I must say, the still living, Starks' Direwolves have gotten short-changed in the HBO series.

Well it was interesting in the massive character kill off they had in that episode. Probably close to the Red Wedding.

Based on Martins castration fetish I am betting that he will re-write the scene for the closing book to have the Night King gelded by Theon or somebody else losing the boys in a glorious fashion.

Although I could see Cersei or Theons sister finishing off Uncle Greyjoy.
