I think it's a shame that the risk of STDs has created a huge gulf between what we can do in our sexual fantasies and what we can responsibly and safely do in real life, but it is what it is.

Far be it for me to judge someone else's actions, but lets face it...this was not a smart move on this guy's part. Especially considering that he (said that he) has feelings for this girl. Apparently his feelings only stem from his penis.

I'm in NO WAY envious of this guy or jealous of his opportunity in this little fiasco. I've had my fair share of group sex, but I have ALWAYS done so safely and with the utmost respect for the other participants. That is what I fail to see in the OP's tale, respect for himself and for others involved. But like I said...I'm not judging...just stating my opinion.

I think the likening was STDs and promiscuity, not sexual adventures.

Same as what tray22nc said -- the STD aspect certainly affects things.

If it were clean and safe, I'd personally find it gross. I'm not even into "sloppy seconds", never mind "filthy fifths" or whatever it'd be. I wouldn't declare it morally wrong, though, since I'm more into the "If it feels good, do it" mentality. It's just not for me.

The STD issue is compounded by the ignorance of how easily STDs can be transmitted, the sheer number of them (one more bad thing about AIDS is that everybody's forgotten about all the other diseases), and the total lack of respect shown for the partner.

To say, effectively, "I'm safe, but I don't care what she catches," is extremely fucking RUDE. That's the part that I'd consider morally wrong.
