Gavin Newsome?

I couldn't find any references to him in a previous discussion so thought I'd start one on hot as all fucking hell San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsome.

Yes, he's a bit of a devil-may-care with stuff like, oh, the law, and he's a drunk, and he cheated on his wife with the wife of his best friend/former chief political advisor, and now he's engaged to some never-was Hollywood actress. Those are all givens, and give me plenty of fanciful ideas for a comedy series to pitch when the strike is over.

The reason I bring him up is that he is very, very lickable.

And a playboy from what I understand so I have to think somebody on the board knows scoop.

His ex-wife indicated that he is well-hung. Gay rumors have dogged him for years, probably because he is very pretty and a Democrat from San Francisco, but there could be something to it. Who knows.

Who knows!! I think if I even saw a shirtless pic of him I'd have to excuse myself for a few minutes. Anyone have any run-ins with him in the past - or better yet - fucked him in the past? Would love to know if he's packing the kind of meat that would make him the only scumbag politician I would ever want to fuck me in a literal sense.

Yes, those rumors about his being gay or bi are mostly from outside of San Francisco. He has several close gay friends and is very gay friendly as a whole. I hate when people turn that around and make it something ugly, it only makes it harder to break down those barriers. But then, it is to be expected, I remember being called a n***er lover because my best friend was black growing up.

Newsome is extremely gay friendly (as are most educated straight men in SF) and has gay friends. He is known to "flirt" with drag queens, but only in a campy and non-serious way and usually while campaigning. He does have an eye (and obviously a bit more) for the ladies however. Once when he was out campaigning in the Castro, he was asked about frequently passes made at him by gay men, he turned it around to less than friendly reporter and said (paraphrasing) Have you seen the guys making those passes, that is a compliment.

All around good mayor, friendly (yes, I have met him, many in SF have), and so if he has a few flaws ... like other elected officials are any better, and most are far worse.

And, he has a decent bulge, and a super hot ass.

Thanks for the background/edification Robin. Yeah, he seems like a very decent guy. I have to admit, not knowing the whole story or being that familiar with him or his policies, when he got tarred and feathered by the GOP and the media when some of his dirty laundry got aired... the phrase that came to my mind involved glass houses.

Personally I'm not too trusting of politicians of either stripe, but am more inclined to vote for somebody who admits to having flaws.

That said... I TOTALLY want to get into this guy's pants.

speaking of... last night... walking to a parking garage walked past/behind a few times "da mayor" Slick Willie Brown. Of course in a $1K+ suit, fedora... I think... he was going to the St Regis .. but a number of folks still dig him... including cops who hop'd out to shake hands, and escort, which is graciously turned down. He is an excellent mayor, and while rather nice to look at, based strictly on his public service tenure and if Feinstein declines to run again, he would definitely be a contender (and get my vote). But if Feinstein does decide to run, I'm not so sure Gavin would run against her. Don't forget his political godfather is Willie Brown, and Willie would not condone anyone taking out such a successful democrat. Feinstein may be a bit conservative at times, but for the State and for San Francisco, she is totally effective. But, how about Governor? I could totally see him in Sacramento!

And you are right about his fiance, but then again, he is gorgeous, and totally charming in person.
