Is it possible to be gay and homophobic?

Most of the men who attend gay bars can find a partner, at least for one night. Sadly these is no better way to find a man who wants love and drinks too much.

I gave up dealing with that crowd. The smoke from the cigs got to me. And the idea of being a "regular".

Depends on the kind of bar you go to - if you go to what I call the mass produced bars it will usually be the sterotypical gay guys as that kind of bar meets their requirements. If you are looking for more straight acting or "less likely" (as a friend of mine says) gay guys then you will need to start looking in niche areas like leather clubs or bear bars.

If you're not a club scene person then don't go - the reason it is usually the same type of person is "those type" (for want of a better word) of people are the ones who enjoy those sort of clubs.

Locally to me the scene is awful, a selection of clubs which always have the same few people in them. Thankfully for me i'm not really a club person. You could try "theme night" clubs, there is one locally to me which has a monthly set up and has a diverse mixed crowd of all sorts of people - straight, bi, gay. If I had to pick somewhere, that would be it.

Sigh. Chuck E. Cheese is the only "gay" bar I have ever been to.
