I had a gay doctor when I lived in Birmingham. I developed a bad cough shortly after I moved there and some gay friends I met recommended him. (First time I had ever heard of a prostate exam being related to coughing - but that's another story!)
Anyway, this was before I developed any major health issues so I doubt today I would use him but would seek a gay or gay-friendly doctor if possible. Why? No real reason.
