Me too, and I've noticed a huge increase in bareback porn when I went to LA at Xmas, where my hotel has a good porn channel. But I hadn't been in 2 years, and there had been no bareback fucking 2 years ago. Chi Chi LaRue is speaking out against it a good bit. The most insidious thing about this bareback porn was that, unlike what LaRue said, you really cannot tell the difference in most of the ones who may or may not have HIV: Many of them look fantastic, and it's probably this 'healthy-looking' part of the HIV porn that is the most dangerous of all, and especially combined with crystal meth use, can make it seem okay to do. But it's just not okay in terms of safe. If GordonUK wants to do it, he does it, but I'm not going to.

It's not bad or worse than straights, Gordon, it's just that there's been a rise in HIV among younger gays in the last couple of years. Nobody cares about 'bad' or 'right' in these matters anymore. Obviously, if straight barebacking occurs and results in HIV, there's no difference at all except for bigots who'll use anything. But that's not interesting, we all know about that.

HIV is not something that is isolated to the gay population. AS someone said before, there is a rise amongst the younger population. But this is true in the "straight" community as well. Many of our teens think that HIV is curable with medication. They don't understand that sometimes the quality of life suffers. It is time we all became educated about this disease and the consequences.
