- hoag,
Exactly! That's what I'm talking about. Also there's a massive difference also between homosexuality and gay identity and it's gay culture which promotes and encourages misogyny amongst gay men; too often than not I've seen gay men discredit their relationships and sex lives with women to be accepted as genuine gays by other gay men.
Maybe I'm biased as someone who floats around 2–4 on the Kinsey scale but terminology like "gold-star gay" makes me roll my eyes. Sometimes I just want to shout "just because someone played with women a few times when they were 18 doesn't make them not homosexual/gay at 28!" at the people who use these terms but it's useless lol. (I'd say the same thing about gay women who use "gold-star lesbian" as well)
But anyway, to stop myself from rambling: I don't know why people who had late sexual "awakenings" (i.e. realised their own sexuality later in life than usual) always feel the need to go 10x harder than people who didn't have late awakenings and were comfortable in their own sexuality by teen/college years. It just feels… extra. Like, you still enjoy dick; nobody's going to be able to change that except your own brain if your sexuality fluctuates.
