Interesting response. Emotionally charged as well.Oh geez, thank you for allowing me to disagree with you. <roll eyes>
Lmao, you sure are something else thinking just because you think you have your own sexuality figured out that therefore you have everyone else's figured out. Arrogant much?
I do not believe I have everyone's sexuality "figured out". I'm not sure what that even means, or where you are getting it from. I am speaking to my personal interpretation of reality. That's it.
You have your interpretation, and I have mine.
The absolute truth is not something humans have access to. We are simply animals after all, and not divine in nature. We perceive the world, and then we interpret that perception of it. Reality itself beneath the interpretation is not directly accessible to us. Not really. That is what I believe.
In contrast, you seem to believe that a person's sexual orientation is objective in scope, and I disagree with that.
My interpretation of a thing does not need to match your interpretation of that same thing. In other words, my interpretation is just as valid as another. You not liking it doesn't suddenly mean my understanding of reality is unreal. That doesn't make any sense.
Could that be arrogance? Maybe. But society itself isn't real or objective in scope per se either, it's a social construction. When looking at earth from space, there are no borders or nations. The existence of a social structure itself is just an interpretation we all agreed upon together. That's why a person's interpretation of reality is the most valuable contribution they have to make to our society. It's a fundamental part of the human experience.
