Gay Life In Budapest

Recently I have been accepted to ELTE University and I was wondering how is gay life in Budapest and is it worth to come to Budapest as a gay man? Thank you for you answers in advance!

I'm not Hungarian but I've visited Budapest few times...amazing city, gay scene looks ok considering Hungary is still 'conservative' country...had a lot of fun everytime there

City is just beautifull, very multicultural with a lot of tourists ! And very close to bigger citys in other countries close to it (Bratislava, Wienna, Zagreb, Belgrade...)

Well, I'm hungarian , not living in Budapest but I was there couple of time. There are a lot of gay saunas, spas, party places. Many gays. The city is very beautiful lots to see. Good public transport.
