Agreed. There’s also a movement afoot in film/Television calling for gay roles to only be played by gay actors. By this standard, should heterosexual characters in film/Tv only be played by other hetero men? These activists are seemingly oblivious as to how this toxic retrograde rhetoric negatively impacts the community they claim to care so much about.

- Actors in Hollywood play make believe by creating a fiction that materializes as television and movies.
- Adult content creators (or porn actors) play make believe by creating erotic fantasy that materializes as porn.

Two different genres but neither are real! So there shouldn’t be any ridiculous litmus tests being applied to anyone’s sexual orientation. If said actor can satisfy the role convincingly to audiences, that’s the only true standard that matters.

I think the point applies more to the G4P actors that worked in the gay porn industry. They were hired for a production and are "playing gay" for the scene. I don't really have an issue with that like I've said before.

I just think this whole thing started because some guy got a bug up his ass when he found out his fave porn actor was gay for pay or said in an interview he was straight and he got totally butt hurt over him giving $5 to a straight guy to watch him fuck...or more likely $0!

We have to fantasise to watch porn anyway - we have to forget there are cameramen and lights and its probably a tiny set in a warehouse.

Should we boycott a porn because that dude is not REALLY his stepbro or his Dad or his gym teacher so that's a massive lie and I feel taken advantage of!!!
