If someone gave you a pill that would turn you into an attractive, fully functional/biological woman overnight, would you take it? Assuming all your friends and family would already know you as a "woman" the next day (i.e. you're not having to come out to anyone as 'trans' or anything like that)...your friends and family would see you as a woman/you would have always been a woman in their memory.

If possible, could you please disregard things like periods or child birth etc when answering the question- as I believe these are some things that even women themselves don't exactly "love" either)...

I am mainly aiming this question at feminine gay guys and/or total bottoms, or men in makeup etc (you get the picture) but any gay men can answer obviously.

So with this kind of transition I lose my today's "cognitive self"? I won't remember that yesterday I was a man? So I think that's irrelevant. (for me is the same as if a reincarnation was a real thing)
No, you wouldn't lose your memory. You'd just have a woman's body when you woke up the following day. You'd still remember your life as it is/was. Think of it as transitioning male to female; minus all the hormones, surgeries, and having to "come out" as trans.

I don't know what the connection is to gay men, bottoms or not. Perhaps your question should be asked of pre-op transexuals, who indeed wish to have their bodies reflect their gender.

Being a gay man, "feminine" or not, "bottom" or not, "makeup-wearing" or not, has nothing to do with wanting to be a biological woman..."attractive" or not.

Is this something you would want? If so, you may be transgender, and there is a forum for you here that may help you: Ask a Transgender Person.

Great answer. Thanks! Yes, you are correct - I am asking this mainly for myself as I am currently questioning my sexuality and gender identity. I know there are plenty of trans (pre-/post-/non-op) people I can speak to, however, I specifically wanted to know the opinion of gay men.

To answer the part about being a feminine guy or wearing makeup - I am a pretty effeminate gay man myself (makeup, smooth body/skinny, total bottom) and I often think I'd be better off being a woman in this society. I would, however, not be interested (now or ever) in taking hormones, having surgeries, vocal coaching, social transition etc. I wanted to know if this was a common feeling amongst (feminine) gay men, or is this just something I myself feel (and would I therefore be considered a non-op trans woman because of it).

Women have a bigger pool of men to “choose” from but nah. I like being a guy and women usually have it harder.
I’m a total bottom but don’t wear make up and am between fem and masc.

No! I have no desire wanting to be a woman.

Being a woman will open up a bigger dating pool for sure, YUGE! dating pool. But that doesn’t mean you’ll find a good guy that’ll treat you right. It’s all a matter of luck whether you’re male/female or gay. Just look around, there are plenty of young pretty ladies out there being cheated on or abused by their partner.

I’m perfectly content and happy being a guy.

I think you are mixing two totally separate issues together.

Gender identity is one thing. Sexual preference is another.

Gender identity is how you see yourself. Sexual preference is what you see in others.

The only thing I see in common is that gender identity is a spectrum and perhaps that is why you are confused.

Just like people can be bisexual in their sexual preference. You can be nonbinary or varying shades of it in your gender identity.

i like playing with those to sexual preferences, roles:
when i am together with a girl, a woman, l like to be active, top, little bit dominant...
when a im togehter with am man, ore a hetero couple
i enjoy, beeing a total bottom, submissive, get "taking in hand", down on my knees or
on all fours...
in this momemt i am still male, but with shaved legs and smooth ass, lingerie, stockings and high heels
i feel very girly..
and then when I realize that he likes it...I like to serve him, cuddling his cock..getting ready for his masculinity
getting his girl, his toy, his slut, his tart, his wife
so I like being treated like a woman, fucked like a woman, soft or hard, its just his desicion..

but after that : im am still male ;-)

That's a very personal journey. None of us really have crystal balls to divine that for you. Having said that, I think the way you've described it, it's you'd likelier be non-binary.

My answer would be no I’m confident in my own skin and have came to terms with who I am.
But if there was a pill someone could take to change sex it would make life a lot easier for people who are trapped in the wrong body.
