So I have a friend who identifies as bisexual, but he claims he genuinely doesn't like penis. He really likes guy's butts and the male physique and all that good stuff, but he doesn't like penis. The focus here is on the first two. This thread pretty much clarifies why the first two can be separated. I'm not saying it explains it completely, but that it can definitely help. What sex you have can influence what you find attractive and why. If you never have sex with it, the brain (i.e. one's sexual orientation) will not be nearly as concerned about it as it would otherwise. The two continually bounce off each other to help create the evolution of one's sexuality over time.

For example, I've had sex with an F2M before. Ever since I've fucked his pussy, my sexuality has morphed, altered and changed to take that experience into account. At first, there appeared to be no net effect and I still identified as gay. This is because right after the experience, the effect remained isolated in the sexual practices portion of my sexuality. Yes, it is. There are no laws. The neat little categories of sexual orientation (gay vs. straight, and sometimes bisexual) with their inclusive and exclusive characteristics are always thrown out the window when you look at real people in real life.
