Gay polyamory

Hi guys, is there such a thing as gay polyamory or is it redundant given most gay guys seem to be in open relationships?

Polyamory implies a “relationship“ with multiple partners. Open relationships are generally more about casual hookups. True polyamory, e.g., thruples, or guys that have a husband and a boyfriend, etc., are a thing but complicated and less common than open relationships.

I've been in semi-open relationships, but I've never had more than one partner at a time, even when I briefly considered it. I like belonging to someone.

I like being with one person too. We are in an open relationship but I’d like to find perhaps one or two like minded individuals with whom I can party and share things I can’t with my partner. He’s just not interested.
